Recruitment scams

Scammers sometimes pretend to be employers, offering jobs to get money or personal details from job seekers. Some copy LDE's name and logo.

How to tell it's really us

• We never ask you to pay anything to apply, to be interviewed or to start work.
• Our emails come from an address ending in @lde.co.nz. Check the spelling closely: scammers use lookalike addresses.
• Our open roles are listed on this site. You can check a role here before replying.

If something doesn't look right

Don't reply, pay or share your details. Email employment@lde.co.nz and we'll tell you whether it came from us.

You can report a scam to Netsafe or to the National Cyber Security Centre.
